electric bicycle

Postby DAVID THOMPSON » Wed Aug 12, 2020 3:05 am

Simon Cowell is getting some face time in the news after wrecking his new electric bicycle...

edit news error he was riding an E motorcycle at a whole lot more power

when riding one renumber some of them do have a bit of power

so be careful mid drive is best and there light so can be a bit wiled in wet grass or mud
even wet pavement can get you down

and they will have you going faster than you think you are going

do ware a helmet and heavy shirt and pants as road rash hurts and some heavy shoes

they are useful but not a very safe toy

Well, you saw what I wrote elsewhere on those e-bikes - for the faster ones, a license, helmet & insurance are mandatory here.

But IMO, if you want to use a bicycle (as I do), best cycle on your own steam, to get some exercise. And if that's not fast enough: get a motorbike, with proper tyres, brakes & suspension matched to the speed.

Detestable tit he is...
