What's your opinion of the recently deceased football legend?
I'm pretty indifferent really. Not so much for doing it in the first place but having never said sorry for cheating. Great player. Not much of sportsman.

i hauled kids on a school bus to soccer games 1995 to 2017
it was not played very often here when i was a kid

but was played a lot after 1990

was not a fan of it as it just seemed the girls used it as an excuse
to kick the CRAP out of each other

not a fan of USA style football either too many energies that last a life time
and almost every year a dead player or 2
within a hundred miles of my town

Following a biased and flawed moderator choice (someone posting aggressive personal attacks is rewarded, while my technical posts are removed - behind my back & without any justification!), I have withdrawn from this forum.

Never saw him play, but knowing him with that kind of ego made me just hate him. The hand of god which is no football just made him famous.

Come on, he was unbelievably talented as a football player and had the guts to keep his stand when it comes to political matters. Along with Pele and Cantona, he's one of the best players in football history for me.
