Skied many times at Stowe as a youngster John, and was lucky to be close enough to commute, but have no recollection of that mega-faux chalet called the Stowe Mountain Golf Club. When was that built? But I do remember well the original von Trapp Lodge. Beautiful country.

Kinda agree with that as it's such a pristine area - used to be anyhow.

Yes great photo Alan Shepherd 1964 winning USA GP, against the odds, i.e. the Yank's supplying him with low grade pool gas, couldn't have a commie bike winning in those days could we.

Never been, but always wanted to do the"100-200" bicycle ride when I was still riding.

The first 3 man super goped 60mph

I got a 50cc scooter from a friend and thought i would do some stretching and lighten
it a little , It still retained the electric start via a foot switch , Had this toy in 2001,would do 60mph and take three people , it was even scarier when you sit on the board lol , So there you go .An 8 foot super goped
