as you make the trip do travel us rt 219 and or us 220 from southern WV
off to the north east through the eastern mountains near Elkins WV and Petersburg WV
and do take lots of memory and batterys for your camera
wish i could get away more in the summer to see it all

My first nice day Spring ride in Montana. These pics are from the range land near Silver City, MT (not far from the capitol and my current home Helena, MT)

It is still winter in the mountains (you might be able to see snow still on some of the distant ridges). Those will be some stellar rides!

Nice ride. I'm gonna be jealous... :-D
I loved that area when I passed thru a couple of years ago on the way to Seattle to see my son at Fort Lewis.
Gotta make time for a visit and stay a bit.

I took the 1000 SF up to the national forest.

I haven't been up there since 2008 with my baggy which was sold.I decided the 1000 would do just fine up there and it did.

I'll be back many times this summer.It consist mostly of class 4 roads which are hard packed dirt.Many better than the paved roads around the state.
