Brilliant thread topic! :smt023

I'm a CAMRA fanatic (CAMpign for Real Ale) so I'm afraid lagers leave me a bit cold (pun entirely intended - beer's meant to be drunk at a temperature that doesn't anaesthetize your tongue :smt005 ) so warm beer that tastes of hops and malt is where its' at for me.

The top beer (in my 'umble opinion, natch') has to be Old Peculier

Oh a difficult question. Another Real ale man but choosing one is impossible. My favourite beer ever was a one off brew by Dark Star called Amsink Black. I love my dark beers,... but then again I like bitter... and mild,,,, and IPAs... well you get the picture. And then there are the Belgium beers, Trappist , Lambic fruit beers

I'll get back to you!

I like unfiltered Hefeweizen. Shock top raspberry wheat is good, shiner hefeweizen when I can find it, and trader joe's dunkelweizen and bavarian Hefeweizen all are pretty good.
Cool.

Looks a good place Dave!
Although it does show one of the problems I find with so many of the newer breweries. The high ABV of the beers. Although I have no objection a 10% Porter now and again, I wish more breweries would do a 3.5% session bitter. There are a few good low ABV beers around, but they take a lot more skill than the pile if high, triple hopped IPAs that seem to be all the rage

There has been a rumor over here on the west side of the pond…
It has been around for years..
Its about the warm beer
The story goes that JOE LUCAS made most of
the electric ice chests
and they were about as reliable as a 200cc tiger cub with a bad battery

And the rumour on this side of the pond is that Anerican beer is so disgusting you have to serve it ice cold so you can't taste it!

And never take the name Joe Lucas ( prince of darkness) in vain especially this close to Halloween!

And God said let there be light
So Joe Lucas invented the dynamo
And could you see?
Could you ****!
