I have a G reg MZ ETZ 251 that came to me in a bit of a ruff condition and was not running and looked like it has been in a garage for a long while. 16,295 miles
As I was from a friend and as I had a good bit of time to kill I decided to have a play with it.
I did all the following works over a period of 6 months and then moved to Australia and left it behind to use when I got back, as I now have a permanent visa got Australia it is not fair to have this sitting in my parents garage so as I am back for a while have it up for sale.
The pictures below have been taken today but have all the progress pictures of the rebuild on my other phone so will add them as soon as possible.
The bike was a non runner with no power anywhere but I managed to get it going with a new condenser, setting the points (if that's the correct terminology) and getting a a new spark plug, fuse board and carb clean.
It is a sad day that i need it sell it but it is too nice to leave in the garage.
I hope this is ok with the moderators but I am open offers as don't want a lot of this bike just want it to go to a good home. That is why I am advertising it on here and not gumtree etc. So please do contact if you are interested I am a honest guy who just wants my bike to go to good home. Was last on the road 1989 lol

Condenser new
Fork seals replaced with now oil
Spark plug new
Fuses and electrics checked (new fuse board)
Shortened front and rear mud guards
Shortened rear indicators
Sourced battery cover and re painted as was missing
Seat re-covered (brand new)
Clock holders reprinted
Front suspension painted after rebuild
Front caliper painted
Rear shocks taken off and painted
New exhaust
Engine block scrubbed and polished ... As best as possible
Header cleaned and polished
Hubs cleaned and painted
Wheels heavy clean and polish
Gear oils changed
All new fuses
Tank reprinted
Frame painted
Fuel filter added
Sticker bomb on sides and front but can be removed as just stickers just fresh black underneath.
Cain lubed
All spokes free and not rusted all tensioned and wheels true
All electrics work...lights Etc
Comes with Haynes manual
Breaks all taken apart cleaned and rebuilt all work great.
Wires all cleaned and tidies up.
Bad points ,.....
Does not run
Spark has gone again as has been sitting think this if the point again.
Carb runs / over flows
Rust in tank - cleaned as much as possible with nuts and bolts lol and apple cider vinegar but still some rusk in there
Fuel cap leaks ever so slightly if your rock it like mad.
Tires are a bit old, good tread but a little cracking
Foot peg rubbers a bit old but work
