Hi. Just bumping my advert. Please email or text in the first instance if you`re interested in either bike, because if I see a UK number on my phone I tend to ignore it due to hassle calls from PPI, insurance companies, etc. Sorry. Thanks,

Hi.

I have sent a text message but thought I would message on here as well. What is the mileage? Service history? MOT? Also what is postcode so I can look up distance. Thanks, Ben.

Hi Ben. Sorry but I`ve forgotten my phone at work. I`m guessing with being on the IOM you`re not too interested now, which is understandable. But to answer your questions, the mileage is around the 44000 KM = roughly 27000 miles, there is no service history, one key, no MOT as we don`t have them over here. I`m sure it would pass one though. The only time we need a test on our vehicles is when it is imported onto the island and is over three years old. As I say in my local advert, it is in "used" condition and great fun to ride. The only reason for my "possible" sale is the fact I`m finding after about 30 miles, my arms start going to sleep and I get pins and needles. If I put higher bars on it this would probably stop this? Thanks for the enquiry, Steve.

Hi Steve. Thanks for getting back to me. Yes as much as I would love the bike I wouldn't know how to go about getting a bike from the Isle of Man. Good luck with your sale, it is a very nice bike. Regards, Ben.

Hi Ben, getting it from the IOM isn`t too bad, I`ve bought from the UK many times. The problem is the cost which then obviously bumps up the price of the bike. I totally understand your reasons, thanks again for your enquiry and good luck with your search. In fact, a nice looking Sport in green, recently sold on ebay for £795, a bargain in my opinion, they`re great bikes, but it shows they are out there. Cheers Ben, Steve :smt023

Yes I was watching that, unfortunately that was in Scotland which again is about 500 miles each way for me. It is surprising how the mz skorpion isn't appreciated and clean, low mileage ones can go so cheap. I am sure they will go in in value in the next few years as has happened with the Yamaha srx 600 in the last 2 years. Ben.

I flew in and rode my Traveller 1200 miles back home...(USA)...Rochester, New Hampshire to Nashville, TN
They are rare over here.

'Course, my favorite "day trip" is over 500 miles through the Smoky Mountains in the "Tail of the Dragon" area...
Yes, I like these bikes that much... :D

I have had a lot of long journeys to get bikes but I am constantly working 12 hour shifts at the moment and soon to be moving so I don't have the time. I did get a traveller though, haven't got it on the road yet but will do soon.

AAAhhhh....12 hour shifts...been there for over 25 years (ICU and ER nurse). I feel your pain.
Past 6 years, I've been doing 9-5 M-Fr now, not sure which is worse... :?

That looks like a nice Traveller. I thoroughly enjoy mine. Commute as much as weather will permit and get the long ride in when I make time.
