a mz500 section would be nice,
i know there isnt the same sort of following as some of the other mz's
but since i have the 500 i thought it couldnt hurt to ask :D

the 500cc rotax bikes are covered in the board index under Vintage Motorcycles
and share some parts with the last of the 2 smokers

Agree. The Rotax MZs are completely unique. And they are not "vintage" as compared to the 2-smokers. :-D There's a wealth of knowledge available on the German das MZ site - they have a section devoted to the MZ 500s.

yeah see, if those pesky germans have one, surely we deserve one as well, :D
ill document every bit of maintenance that needs doing in the form of how to's
and answer any 500 related question that comes up..

ive even done a colour diagram for the 500's i might even consider doing a 125cc one for you :D

It looks like there is more 500 discussion than anything else lately! Great! I am going to have to get my starter / gear problem sorted out and get my other engine back together when time permits. Keep up the discussions!

They share some frame parts, but they DON'T share the other parts. WTF is the problem in creating a separate 500cc sub forum??
