There are a couple of dealers in TX that are still involved with MZ. I just got a chain, sprocket and brake pads/caliper kit from Perry @ Perrys Motorcycles and Sidecars in Ft. Worth. http://www.perrysmotorcycles.com . He speaks German and orders directly from MZ. MPHCycles.com in Houston is also still in the MZ biz to support the bikes they sold. That is Mike and he seems like a nice guy; I have seen him at a couple of different events here in Austin. Check elsewhere on the site for the new UK distributor. I asked for pricing and they respond mighty quick and early in the morning!

Hello again,

Yes, we are SF Moto, 275 8th street San Francisco CA 94103. We were an MZ dealer and sold the Baghira, the MZ125SM and we actually sold 1 MZ1000S. So we are most familiar with these models. We have parts manuals for the Skorpion series, we work on them alot in our service dept and occasionally sell a used MZ unit here and there. It seems that quite a few Skorpion owners in North America already have our info because we have have shipped more than a dozen orders out of state to desperate MZ owners. We try to keep the most commonly worn out (or broken) parts in stock; brake/clutch levers, brake pads, clutch cables, tires, brake switches, regulator rectifiers, chains and sprockets. We never do motor tear downs or major engine work so I am probably not a great resource if your project involves motor work. We spend most of our time keeping the running MZ's on the road. I work in the parts dept. and I have an 03 MZ 660SM and I used to have an MZ 125SM...Call us @ 415-255-3132 FAx us 415-861-7198 Thanks again for the cool site!

I got a brake lever (01 Baghira) from them and it was a great experience. I highly recommend them!

Great experience with SF Moto the couple of times I've ordered from them. As Tony stated he rides a Baggi too.. In fact, after fudging around with RaceTech for over a month trying to get the right fork parts (their "specs" are correct, their parts were not), I finally called SFMoto and Tony had two sets of all seals/bushings in stock, and damn if they weren't same or less than RaceTech anyway. Lesson learned there, call them first.. :smt006

UPDATE 8NOV07:
I just had to order a speedo cable. Everyone was busy so I left my FIRST name, phone number, and said I needed a speedo cable for a baghira. Got a call back about 2 hours later. the conversation went something like this.. "We have that in stock, you still live at xxx? Yes. Credit card number we have on file ends with xxx, is that good?" Yes. OK, we'll ship it out tomorrow." DAMN! that's the way to order some parts! Thanks SFMoto. :-D

Thumbs up from me on SF Moto as well. Bought my bike there, and they've never done me wrong on parts OR service (still take the bike back to them once a year for service). Haven't bought a factory part from them in a little while, but the last time I did (factory fork guards for the Baggy), they got them quickly and for a very reasonable price.

They're good guys too.

Hi all,
I have recently purchased a black panther and am eager to know if any dealers/support exist in the MidWest, US. I too need a set of seat fasteners and would be interested in a nearby supporter of MZ.

Thanks!
