Just landed in here.

Postby Gerryman Ts125 » Fri May 08, 2020 10:06 am

Hi fellow Muz owners from Glasgow :D . Recently I was forced to remove my '86 model Ts125 lux (owned by me since birth ) from my old landlords basement. It has not ran much since 1989. I have kicked it over quite a bit since then. So it now resides in my lockup garage looking a bit rusty here and there. And my job now is to get it running again. So wish me luck

I will indeed. Already cut the battery tray because it rotted down a bit. So be posting photos once I have reduced them lots.

Good luck mate. Little tip, you can use imgur to host your pics so you don't have to edit them at all.

These things are crazy simple so hopefully you have her running in no time

if its a real important picture post it here those hosting sites dump the picture
after a while and important stuff goes missing
like a wiring drawing no one saved

Welcome!
Owned since birth - that's remarkable...

Good luck on the restoration & indeed best place pics inside the forum, so they don't get lost over time.

Got it to run yesterday, first time in over Thirty 0ne years. Fitted new contact breakers, fresh fuel, ran down the hill at my lockups. And it fired into life again. ticked over for about forty five seconds. And the battery expired. Luckily I had a spare battery. and I ran it until the carb emptied. yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssss. :smt006 :smt006 :smt006 :smt006 :smt006        Had an idea it would go, but a lot quicker than I had reckoned.
