Bought over the winter. Only have about 100 miles on it so far, but love it. Lots lighter than my Guzzis. :D

Hello and welcome to MZ world1 I too have a yellow Traveller (with hard luggage). I am getting ready for my annual trip to France to the Coupes Motos legends (look it up); in previous years I have used my BMW R1100S, but this time I will be using the MZ. I'll try and post some pictures when I get back.

Dave: You should try and make it up to our meet sometime:

There is a Guzzi rider coming up this Sunday from your area. It's a good time and some interesting bikes and folks usually show up.

dickl: Lucky man! I'd love to see the Coupe sometime.

Loving the MZed. Telepathic steering. A bit of vibration, but i find that keeping it between 4.000 and 5,000 rpm really helps. Installed new Oxford heated grips. Turning the air screw out to 5 1/2 turns really made starting easier. Here it is back together in my Island of Misfit toys.

Manual says 10 to 15 mm free play at the clutch lever. Really? I'm more used to 3 mm or so.

And thanks, Petrolhead. I am having fun on it.

Thought you might like to see this. Me and my trusty Skorpion waiting with a friend whose bike broke in the wilds of West Virginia. He's on that other, unreliable, German brand.
