Ignition

My mate has a etz251 its a1991 model , the little ecu unit for the electronic ignition has gone up in smoke . That type of ignition was only fitted for a short while and he can't find one, can any one help with a spare one .
If not can he retro fit points condenser ignition from a earlier etz . Help cos he goes to fast on his bmw and to slow on his 125vanvan..

I think he has a pvl ignition. These parts are rare.
I suggest he buys a powerdynamo ignition.
It is about 100 Euro and a new ignition coil is included.
He can change it easily and spare parts are available.
