Newbie with a crusty old Etz250.

Hi all,
New to the MZ world having just bought an old etz250.
She has done the rounds previously at Bike magazine with the editor being the last owner. It also appears to have been through the hands of Burwins' when new and still sports the following period mods that I believe they made:
Drilled front disc, Kawasaki GPz master cylinder, Newtronic electronic ignition with matching externally mounted huge coil, stainless down pipe, steel front wheel rim and possibly a few tweaks to the engine (big bore?).

Starts and runs great, although I have gone through the wiring to replace those ghastly red, blue and yellow crimps with nice brass ones.

Next up is rust removal, although I will limit this to just sorting out the really bad bits as I like the 'well used' look of her :-) .

DO not FORGET to lock it up or some one will "nick it"

Disc lock, U-lock, big chain to ground anchor, tatty bike cover and a hidden infrared alarm to alert me in the house.
Then the theiving gits have got to work out how to start her.....

where i live the bikes stay home.. but the 4 wheelers go away at the speed of light

and gun safes are high on the list of things GONE MISSING
