Returning to marque

Postby figaro » Mon Aug 27, 2018 12:37 am

Hi, figaro here.

Nearly 30 years ago I bought a brand new ETZ251 for the princely sum of £950. Bloody loved it, rode it daily everywhere, and even rode it to the south of France for the 1990 Bol D'Or, my first foreign bike trip. Now 3 decades on, and after a string of litre sportsbikes and sports tourers, I'm about to become an MZ owner once again, and I genuinely can't wait!

This time it's a somewhat secondhand looking 251 which, although it apparently runs fine, could do with a makeover judging by the pics. I'm thinking of turning it into a Supa 5 looky likey, and any advice will be very gratefully received...
