Skorpion recommissioned

Postby tigcraft » Thu Jul 04, 2019 2:53 pm

At last after a long sleep (the bike) this year I decided I want to ride it wether I have time or not so today was the day when it rode up the main road for its first MOT test in five years!! It was worth the wait, I’ve never looked forward so much for such a simple pleasure!

i live in an area where there are a lot of poor people and 3 piles of parts is a start
we also have blokes riding trash looking motor bicycles with recycled weed eater motors
we call them " rick n billy" after the Cuban built ones called Riquimbili

there making the guys use yellow safety vests when they ride them

Dave

rick n billy got out in the backyard and built something to ride...

4 more years of the same?!

But no kidding, I've been considering to make something like a Cuban riquimbili too, in a mountain bike version. Using the engine of a minibike someone gave me a while back. But I don't have a suitable mountain bike yet, that's what's stopping me.
