I was in Cuba recently and spotted this EMZ motorcycle owned by a Cuban in Varadero's tourist area. Can anyone tell me the year, model etc.?
A link to details would be great.

One thing i've learnt with Cuban vehicles, after going there, is that there aren't many 'original' spec vehicles around, unless it's special.
With the 'classic american' cars driving around predominantly being converted to diesel long ago, with disc brakes all arounde etc

That looks like a standard 250 5 speed on the surface, but it has a bing carburettor, and interestingly an extra cover on the clutch cover. Injection maybe? Who knows.

It is a TS 250/1 (bulit from about 1976-1981). Engine is also TS 250/1 5 gear.
Seat is ETZ Kanuni.
Front disk is from ETZ 250/251.
