1000S racebike in the US

I cornerworked for a WERA national last weekend and there was a 1000S in the endurance race. I didnt have my camera with me or I would have gotten some pics. I dunno how it did in the results, but he was leaning it over so far he wore a hole in the bellypan

I saw these guys at WERA GNF at Road Atlanta last week.
I was racing there on Ducati 750ss in Clubman, DSS, DSB, V6LW class.

It was sure nice to see big MZ at race track.

Yeah I worked at the GNF too....Nice to see the big MZs on track, but even nicer to see Kevin Schwantz racing again (and winning! )

My friend Lucho (Luis Yaji) was on that race team in several venues. He is a little Japanese looking guy but he's from Peru. He hit his head in Chicago and got a decent concussion after a wipeout but did good for the 5 person team. They ended up coming in 3rd place. He works on my 1000S and is one of my few riding buddies here in South Florida. Anyone know where I can get a coil for a 1000S? Or if a coil from a different bike would work in mine? Having a problem sourcing a coil.
