Over the last few months my lcd screen has become darker and darker to the point where the whole screen is black! this is on the MZ 1000SF.
Has anyone else experienced this?

you fellows with the lcd displays need to cover them when
there not in use and left in the hot sun
i have lost the screens in one GPS unit
and the screen in a yaesu ft 470 ham radio handheld
both were in a view pocket on the tank bag of my bike
had to replace gps ouch$$ had a spair parts radio and fixed the radio

I appreciate what your saying but england isnt renowned for its hot sun and the bike is covered when not in use. Mz are replacing the screen free of charge but now my dealer cant get hold of the representative at mz to get the screen shipped over ?<>><<!"!" ahhhhhh
