Pattern levers

Postby tuxracer » Mon May 12, 2008 4:07 pm

Just noticed that my clutch lever is slightly bent from yesterdays falling over episode and was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a pattern lever to replace it, or if there is an alternative from another bike that might fit? Don’t fancy paying £50 plus postage for an original one.

It is a Nissin item I believe, maybe take it in to a few Japanese bike dealers and have a look at some of the bikes, maybe a mechanic can tell if it is the same as something from an older model(most likely)

Thanks, that would probably be worth a try but there are very few dealers up in this neck of the woods, the nearest one is 25 miles away and then your looking at 130 miles before you reach the next ones. I'll have a word with our one local dealer and see if he's got any ideas, if not I'd be as cheap buying a new one taking into account the cost of petrol!

However if anyone does know what Jap ones fit, I'd be glad if they could let me know.

Cheers
