Wiring diagram anybody?

Hello again, I'm still flailing about looking at the best way to disable the daylight headlamps (easy - remove relay 1) while still retaining the main beam flash function (doesn't work without relay 1). All I need to do is cut the blue wire to the flash button and connect it to a suitable live - I've considered extending it and fitting a small spade connector to the end and pushing this into the 12V supply into relay 1. However, if there's a half decent wiring diagram out there (not the abstract schematics in the workshop manual), I might spot some method which is a little less drastic (my bike is brand new and under warranty).

I find that blowing up the factory diagram to AO size and penciling in the wiring colours with coloured felt tips a great help.
