Hi TomTom, I'm looking at using your suggestion re using 675 coils on my MZ 1000ST (I think one of my recently fitted modified Peugoet Valeo coils has just failed. Can you give me some pointers on the wiring connections please. Thanks. Stephen (NZ)

Thanks for the fast reply, I've ordered the parts. I was also wondering about the wiring, i.e. which wire goes to which pin at the coil?

Thanks. Can you confirm which pin on the 675 Denso colis is +12V, and which goes to the CPU. Looking at installation instructions for the Cordona quick shift, the +12V appears to be the left pin: http://www.cordona.net/installations/pd ... 202011.pdf

Hello all. I've done the Denso coil modification (finally). The Denso connectors came quickly from Corsa in the US (as per recommendation from Tomtom, htttp://www.corsa-technic.com/item.php? ... gory_id=55 and the 675 coils from the US were as cheap as chips.

I didn't want to cut the wiring loom so I made up some short leads using the Corsa connectors and the Valeo pencil coil connectors, which I cut off.
Pictures are attached, the first shows the soldering on the Velo connector and the second shows the epoxy covering the soldered wire and split flex.

I fitted the leads this morning and the bike fired up with no issues.

So the Denso coils for the Triumph 675 work?

Got some Denso coils but need color codes for wiring.
Could someone please post it up?
