1000 Chatter (and a second factory diagnostic kit)

Hi All,
Visited Andy Minns of Border Bikes near Berwick on Tweed yesterday on the way back to work.
He confirms that he has the full factory diagnostic kit (therefore is an alternative to Grahams) and a stock of german chain oiler kits.
He has also just sold the 1000s raced 4x by his cousin in the MGP which it lapped at 110mph and was timed? at 170mph downhill on the course.
The valve clearances have not needed adjustment and apart from this checking, the motor has not been apart and sounded completly normal (mechanically) apart from the micron exhausts. This bike is now on its way to Hungary.
Andy also mentioned that he had previously sold one ST to a chap in Orkney, and I don't think we have come across that one on the forum yet. Have done 6000 miles on my blue/black ST in the last 2 months and have just returned from a glorious weekend with the Tay Valley branch of the Norton owners at Applecross in the Highlands.
NE branch of the MZ club are at Dent (Yorkshire Dales/Cumbria border) July 31/Aug 1/2 to coincide with the Barbon Hill Climb event. Cheers J2T
