Can somone send me a link on where I can buy a passanger seat cover for my 1000S (unpainted) at a good price. Will have to go to South Africa.

Hi Werner,
Not the right price, but Grahams will source you one via the MZ parts store from the original equipment manufacturer.
It may also take a long time, but MZ are obligated to supply parts as per the ten year rule. Grahams currently have outstanding orders for 30+ MZ125 sprag clutch assemblies/parts and the parts manufacturer will only do a min batch of 500. Cheers J2T

Cool, how much do you whant for it?

I herd that MZ has been bought by some motogp guys, is this true? also that the 1000's will not be made any more (bummer).

mz bought by two gp racers ex, got some plans, no more 1000s, didnt buy the patent, hope to have electric scooters soon prob rebadged chinese ones with german electric engines,

they hope to start producing rt 125 125 sm, rt 125 sx soon, we will soon,
i spoke to martin Wimmer owner of MZ Germany last thursday, he talks a good talk so we will see.

Ok, are they still going to produce the 660cc? I think they will sell good here in South Africa. 125's do not really sell here except for school children that will buy them maybe. It looks like the local MZ dealer will have to close doors after the drop of the 1000's

The local Mz dealer only has one 1000SF left (brand new) that they are trying to sell at cost.

They have sold 35 1000's over a short time, mostly only due to the fact that not many people here in South Africa know the brand but I’m sure sales would have picked up over time.
