Ive got an 07 TNT, I'll have to give it a look and see. But I'm not so sure sourcing anything from Benelli will be cost effective vs. getting it from MZ, or the aftermarket. Some on the Benelli forum are looking for alternative coils for instance and are looking outside of the Benelli sourced.....like the MZ ones which appear the same.

Hi,I have recently perchased a mz 1000s and for some reason the fuel pump doesn't run,I have tested the voltage with the ignition 'on' on the pump and the injectors and everything gets power but the pump won't run,I then took the pump out of the tank and put wires directly from the battery to the pump and it works but it has a screeming sound, could be because its not in the fuel, what could cause the pump not to run when its conected to all the other electonics, its a 2006 mz 1000s,please could anyone help, and if the pump has gone where could I find a replacement because the mz agents in south africa don't exist anymore,is the maybe another bikes pump I could use?

Don't assume the worst case scenario, most likely it could be a fuse, or possibly the relay. Start with the simple, work towards the complicated. :-D

Try it in a bucket of water. Be aware that the screetching noise could be the pump running dry without the fuel as the lubricating medium.

Does the bike have an alarm/immobiliser on it. The fuel pump is one of the best places to put in the immobiliser relay into. Check this out first if you have one fitted.
