What's the issue?

Postby TheQK1 » Tue Jan 18, 2011 6:16 am

Hi, I own a MZ1000S 2005 Black and Red.

I have not posted here for a while; all was ok with my bike...until now. I was driving home yesterday (rain) and nothing was wrong. This morning when I started the bike the rev's was uneven (up/down).

I had this issue once before and although I checked the coils/plugs and all the connections for water and found nun I had to take the bike to the local Suzuki dealer who ripped be for 100USD to fix. They however until today have not told me what they did to fix it.

Can anyone help or has anyone experienced a prob. like this?

Regards
Werner

You can see my post in Dec 2009 (Miss on right Piston). This was the first time this has happened, now again. :( Both then and now I drove in the rain?

Check the vacuum hose connections from the induction manifold to the airbox, this is made from quick- rot rubber. I suspect the Suzuki dealer replaced one of them.

Will check tonight, before I again spend money at Suzuki.
