Enduroline Batteries

Postby MJ310 » Thu Nov 06, 2014 4:51 pm

Just tried a new Enduroline battery from Tayna batteries. Said to offer high cranking current at a lower cost but this does not have to guts to start an SF, although not listed by Tayna I spoke to one of the sales men who said it would work but it wont even turn it over, my Yuasa from my Tiger does though (so it a battery problem, not my bike). I am considering a motobatt MBYZ16H which is a 16AH battery with 240CCA but in the same size case as a YTX14-BS. Tayna have been great and have offered my a refund so nothing but a little time lost.

Well I fitted a new Yuasa YTX14H-BS and the bike starts, no problem. I have to say that this bike starts very well on a good battery, even when my old battery was starting to give up as long as the engine turned it started in one revolution, none of my other bikes start this well, they all need half a dozen revs to fire. Hope this battery lasts now.
