The biggest danger of wet grass is the fact that it just won't bloody light,spend all night drying it out but it just ain't the same,Just use a sealed jiffy bag next time!!

Out of curiosity, where are you located? I think it would be a shame to just let the bike sit. Find a respectable body shop have them repair the panels and ride it. My 1000s has 20k miles on it. It is one of 10 bikes in my garage, all of which get ridden. Unfortunately, these things aren't shooting up in value like Paul Smart Ducati's, so enjoy them for what they are.

I did not know this thread continued. To all who contacted me, bike is sold. As you may have read, MZErnie from this forum has purchased it.
