Aprilia's use the exact same coil but it's much cheaper to buy Citroen or Peugeot coils and cut off the shroud.

I'll have to remember that Aprilia coils work. I have a set left over from a Aprilia Falco I parted out last year.

I have just replaced another ignition pencil coil. They were originally made by Johnston controls ltd (JCL) but are now made by VALEO part no :245094. You will need to carefully remove the unnecessary bracketry at the top. Price in the UK : £ 28-30.100

@MJ310

Why so complicated ? They are offered at ebay in Germany, you can order from UK as well.

And there will be customs union - as a member of the EU :-)

My MZ1000s had trouble last Sunday. I need the cross reference for the coil packs available in the USA.
Thanks in advance

Peugeot,Citroen V6 coils fit, all you need to do is cut off the shroud and seal the gap, less than 1/2 the price of MZ coils.

Would like to try the NGK's 48031 U 5008 if I can find them? Would these work as well?
Thanks

Joe
You need this type
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PEUGEOT-CITRO ... Sw32lYwUQK
Then all you need to do is carefully cut off the shroud to match your existing coil and seal the gap with araldite or similar.

Thanks for the link, but can you find a link for USA as I'm not having much luck on my end.
Guess these would also work ?

Joe

Yes, they are the same coil. Just search for citroen V6 coils.
