How do you remove the seat pad on the Skorpion Replica? Need to access the battery

remove the rear tail cover (w the key) - it will pop up when you pull the chrome latch behind the seat latch/helmet latch. below the cover is a black string/cord - pull that and the back of the seat will pop up - tilt forward and up.

BTW - does it have a Replica Serial # plate on the front triple clamp?
