ETS 250 stearing head bearings

Postby dirtsurfer » Tue Aug 03, 2021 4:05 am

My trophy Sport has cup/cone/ ball type bearings in the stearing head.

Replacements seem to cost 45 euro or 64 quid a set.
yet I notice that the TS 250 has a very similar frame and stearing assembly uses ball bearing races. I wondering if anyone knows if I can swap out the old cup and cones for 6006 ball bearings?

thanks in advance Max

Following a biased and flawed moderator choice (someone posting aggressive personal attacks is rewarded, while my technical posts are removed - behind my back & without any justification!), I have withdrawn from this forum.

No, you cannot use the 6006 ball bearings on the ES/2.

The ball bearings were introduced on the TS models. They are not interchangeable with the older models.
