2001 Skorpion Seat Removal

Trying to get the seat off, is there a trick or is it just being stubborn? TIA!

If it is a Skorpion Sport with a separate pillion pad; you need to unlock and remove the pillion pad and there should be a cord under the seat which runs towards the riders seat pad. If you pull on this cord (carefully!) you should unlock the rider's seat. If it is a Tour or Traveller, there is a seat lock on the near side.(left side) There are digital copies of the riders manual on the web, I think there are links elsewhere on this forum.
