Quick update: Fifty mile run on the bike today taking it to about 120 miles since the rebuild. Bike is running great and loosening up nicely, definitely worth the effort.

Good to hear!

(Clean it properly to remove the salt, it's such a nice bike.)

Congratulations. More miles on the bike will obviously increase your happiness that you did a good job well done! :-D

Great news for you, after all your hard works to cure it. Motorcycles are great when they run. Even when they run pish. You can put up with a whole lot of stress and heart (head) aches too. Fantastic when you work hard and can enjoy your endeavours. And the cool wind up your sleeves and ankles. Ahhh the joys of two-wheeli'n and freedom.
