Skorpion head light

Postby alan jackson » Mon Jan 03, 2022 9:02 am

Hi,
My Skorpion dip beam bulb has failed. It has twin headlight behind a glass in the fairing. The bulb looks superficially like an H4, but on closer examination, (after purchase!), it is actually quite a bit smaller then an H4 both on the flange fitting and and the connectors.
Can anyone suggest what type of bulb I need because I can't find anything like it listed anywhere?
Thanks in anticipation.#

Following a biased and flawed moderator choice (someone posting aggressive personal attacks is rewarded, while my technical posts are removed - behind my back & without any justification!), I have withdrawn from this forum.

Thanks for the reply.
The bulb I have removed looks like the H4 drawing, and is a two filament bulb, but the dimension given on the drawing of 43mm is only 35 on the bulbs fitted.
The only notation on it reads KOITO JAPAN - 12V 55/40W.

Take it to your local Halfords.
They have a good range of both motorcycle and car bulbs, look for their own brand with 150% extra light output for the same wattage, they have had good reviews.
