Vacuum pipe

Postby JawasandMZs » Fri Mar 04, 2022 1:14 pm

Anyone know how to take a vacuum feed off an MZ carb? Is there a specific drill point?
I want to fit an in-line shut-off valve as I keep forgetting to turn off the petrol.
I actually need help on my Jawa but hopefully any information can be carried over from MZ expertise.
Thanks.

You could fit an inline electric fuel pump.

some bikes like Suzuki had a shut off unit that worked like this
i think it had a priming lever to get it going if it had set for a few days

If you google "solenoid fuel valve for motorcycle" you might find something suitable.
