Baghira handlebar replacement

Postby edec » Sun Mar 18, 2007 1:13 pm

Which aftermarket handlebars and clamps fit the Baghira without any fitment (controls) problems? I would appreciate any model numbers, size, bend options, etc.
Thank you, Ed

I just put on Pro Taper Contour CR High bars. The standard 7/8 to 1 1/8 bolt on mounts worked perfectly. If the CR High bars worked, I think any of the bends will. I must have moved the bars several inches back and up and had zero issues with cables/lines, they have plenty of slack in them.

Can post pic later if you'd like.

I put ProTaper SE bars on, and they bolt right on with no adapter needed. The "SE" stands for "seven eighths," which is the diameter of the ProTaper bars as well as stock bars (clever, no?). I also have the "CR Hi" bend, which is very close to the stock specs. They have a removable cross-bar, which comes in handy for accessories. I like them. Probably not incredibly strong w/out the cross bar, but they save a good couple of pounds in weight over the stock bars.

Here's a pic:
