Anyone else used these before?

I'm just about to fit one of their 2.50x16 boots on the back of my TS & have read good things about their grip, esp. in the wet. The tyre I have feels nice & sticky and has a pattern similar to the old Pneumant currently fitted as an 'originality' bonus, Will report back on this as for the money (£28) I reckon it could be a lot of tyre for the price.

Dan, are you sure rear tire size your TS 250 is 2,50x16?....I think all TS 250 model rear tire 3,50x16... and models TS 125 and 150 3,00x18 .

I have a lot of faith in tyres Dunlop K-82 aprox. 60 euros no cheap but goods for the motorcycleman health.

Heidenau tires were stock on my rt125 and seemed to work well about 13,000 miles front was cupping from my lack of attention to air pressure

Sorry yes, yet another typo. 3.50 it is! :oops:

I can appreciate your wishes to stay rubber side down, as we all do, and so far I can say the Heidenau is nothing short of brilliant. Time will tell what the wear is like but with the grip it has I would imagine that it won't be the longest lasting tyre ever, that said though, at the price I wouldn't mind replacing them a little more often. (Especially as the construction seems to be on a par with even Michelin, after fitting no balancing was required at all!)

David, I haven't researched this at all but somehow I feel 'Heidenau' may be Pneumant under a new name, what with the tread pattern (also casing design) being the same on mine, the fact they're made in Germany & now that you mentioned they were standard equipment on your RT125 also. If I get bored later I may do some rooting to see if this is the case, if it is so then the grip situation has been pretty much turned around...
