TS250/1 clutch puller...

Postby TS2Fifty » Thu Jul 17, 2008 9:23 am

Does anyone know the dimensions & thread pitches for the clutch puller tool for TS250 motors? It's basically like a Triumph twin camwheel puller (hollow part screws onto the clutch centre & a shaft screws into this, bearing against the end of the crank) if that springs any memories?...

I understand from what I've read that using a conventional 3/4 leg puller would distort the clutch basket so need this to finish off stripping my engine, I did used to have a link to a decent MZ info site with details of how to make the tool but it seems to have closed down since I last went on so any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers, Dan.

Try ebay. Kev Salter sells the 4 and 5 speed clutch pullers. I know he buys these from the owners club "Spares and Repairs" if you can find the contact details for Fred Rogers.

You need to 4 speed variant. Do not use the a conventional puller it will indeed distort the clutch basket.
