Herbie clips

Postby djsbriscoe » Sat Jun 27, 2009 9:38 am

Hi,
Just thought I'd mention these

http://www.hclfasteners.co.uk/herbie-cl ... hoseclamps
ABOVE IS A DEAD LINK I THINK SOME KIND OF PLASTIC HOSE CLAMP dave site mod
for use instead of conventional jubilee clips.

I've used them successfully on both my rt125 and the skorpion to replace any hose clips (as and when needed).

Advantages are
1/ Can be installed without having to remove the hose first.
2/ Not subject to corrosion.
3/ The clip is more round so minimises leakage paths.
And a few more I can' t think of at the moment.

They come in bags of 10 and a wide range of sizes.

HTH

David.
