help i have problems

i have an electical problem on my etz 250
the engine running off the battery draining it if i use lights the go dimer when engine is running
i have had a repalcemnt alternator a new reulator/recterfier also new elcttronic ingntion

Hi, You do not mention the battery and it makes me wonder if that could be the problem and your electronics are trying to cope with an ailing battery. Just a thought. wish you well Take care Alan.

could be the battery i was told by the guy i got the bike off he put a new battery on just before i had it :smt006

ive put a muilti meter on battery when bike is running its reads 11.79ish so its not chargeing so i can rule out battery

Could be a lot of things. Bad carbon brushes on the alternator. Incorrect wiring or bad connection anywhere. Bad rotor, stator, rectifier or regulator. If you are handy with a multimeter it shouldn't be a huge job to get to the bottom of it.

all sorted now just a bad conection at the fuse
