TS150 Throttle cable

Postby Hooijer » Mon Nov 28, 2016 10:03 am

Hi all,

I have been struggling with the throttle cable on my MZ for a while and was wondering if you know how to route it. My problem is that when I turn the handlebars, my throttle changes immensely. It has one of those VBF carbs without idle speed screw, so there is no cable slack on the throttle cable.

Currently, I have it run through the bracket for the horn then directly to the throttle grip. Cable is new from ost2rad and I'm running an adjusting nut on the throttle grip(cable was too long. This is not stock.) though with the stock throttle cable there is also a bunch of change in rpm on moving the handlebars.

is it going past the head of the frame on right or left side
it may be being pulled because it going around the wrong side
which makes it too short
