Smaller front-sprocket for es 250/2

Postby TJBERGLI » Sat May 06, 2017 12:51 am

Hello!
Does anybody know if there is a sprocket from another bike (UJM) that will fit my trophy? Asking because postage and customs will triple the price if buying from another country.

Shippiung costs to norway (international letter up to 500 g) incl. tracking is about 8 Euro.
So I don´t think it does really pay to search for another sprocket.
Besides I don´t know another one that will fit.

According to european law, all dealers have to tell the customer the shipping costs before he pushes the "order button".
As the computer does not know how heavy the ordered part is, we have to tell the customer an estimated shipping price.
Surely most of my collegues will try to send parts as cheap as possible.
As the sprocket is below 500 g , the cheapest way is sending it in a letter incl. tracking link.
So the costs that the program tells you is irrelevant.
As all customers outside of germany have to pay in advance, there is no risk.
After an order the customer gets an email with account data etc.
If the costs are to high, the customer simply does not pay the bill and that is the end of the order :-)

Order placed! Norway is not a member of EU, so the price should be ex german VAT :D

With shipping as a parcel this is true.
But shipping in a letter means that I cannot proof to the finance office that I have sent the part outside of EU.

But sending as a parcel would cost you more than paying german taxes..

Your part is already on the way to you.
