What swinging arm?

Hi Guys,
I am just about to start the refurb of my, in boxes, 1994 Saxon Tour 301, but on fishing out the swinging arm I find it is a round tubular one and not a square box section one like my 1995 Saxon. Question is, is this round one ok for 1994. As far as the fitting goes It is probably ok although I have not tried it yet
