5000 KM

Postby gellermpd » Wed Mar 13, 2013 6:50 pm

Just rolled over 5000km today. Is there anything special I should be doing maintenance wise. I don't have a service manual so I'm kind of in the dark on this. Many thanks friends!

Ah, I remember turning the clock at 5k. Now at 39k and ready for spring to hit the nor-east.

Run it and keep watch on things. Mind safety/maint items and your good to go!

Thanks to all for the advice! Had an oil change, plug change, tune up and once over. The guy I take it to has a BMW bike shop and is very familiar with the ROTAX engine. He said the bike is in excellent condition. I feel kind of bad for paying what I did for it, but it is one sweet ride.

Safe riding to all!
