Rear sprocket bolts..

Make sure the bolts going through the rear sprocket/hub are a grade 10.9 or higher. I made the mistake of replacing the bolts when doing the sprockets last with a set of grade 8.8 without thought. The result was a sheared off rear sprocket at highway speeds, thus destroying the entire chain drive system. The instant slack of the chain over the front sprocket knocked the oil pressure sender out of the filter cover.

Of course, this all happened 1200 miles from home, but that's another story that involves a uhaul. The bike has been fixed, but it's a costly mistake that could have been avoided.
