Mz 500 Country Exhaust

Hi, does anyone know what the finish on the Mz Country exhausts was? It looks to be stainless steel but the outer finish looks enamelled but i'm not sure. My exhaust is looking a bit untidy and I was wanting to perhaps restore the original finish. Has anyone done this and if so where, what was the process and how did the exhaust turn out?

I am not sure but I would imagine that you could repaint the exhaust system. The company I used for Bultaco had a range of finishes. It looked pretty impressive when it was finished. I replaced my exhaust on my MZ 500 Country with a system from Germany.
