Muffler options???

Postby DrGonzo » Tue Mar 08, 2016 11:10 am

I've seen a few pics of a Silver Star with and aftermarket tapered muffler and of course a few with a Wood Racing slip-on.
My header/collector pipe seems to be about 55mm or 2.165 inches. I have been considering a cone engineering muffler but it looks as though I'd have to come up with some sort of adapter/ midpipe.
Anyone have thoughts or experience with this?

Thanks for the link, but the odd inlet size is still a problem. I will probably go with a Cone Engineering
Quiet-re Core stainless steel muffler and just have a muffler shop make up a small adapter/mid-pipe.
