Standard indicator lens.

Postby breakwellmz » Thu May 14, 2020 3:09 pm

Hi.

I`m after a standard indicator lens to replace one that got a bit hot and melted due to being too close to the exhaust outlet. Has anyone got one tucked away that is surplus please?

Cheers.

Well they turned up today.
Really well packaged (in a cardboard protective sleeve) free p and p and a postage paid return label, all for £2.66 the pair; how do they make money on that?
Thanks again handsomejackuk

Hi.

There are a few names conspicuous by their absence.
Regarding your cush drive, what symptoms (if any) did it show to make you think they needed replacing?

Cheers

just seemed a bit of a clonk when putting it in gear that has totally gone now and transmission feels nice and taught on and off the throttle, well worth doing for £20

just took bike for m.o.t. all passed just a quiet word in my ear about missing reflector there is one but its under the back visible from the back.. but all good bike rode great on test ride to m.o.t.

What sort of mileage have you done and where did you get them? (saying that i imagine this engine doen`t give cush drive rubbers an easy time)
It`s always a relief to get an Mot out the way i find however well you think you`ve looked after your machine.
