new to mz's need engine help

hey ive got a 2000 scorpion tour, blows lots of oil out the tail pipe. ive done some research and at 23000 miles im thinking its piston, rings, and probably the cylinder. unfortunately im in the u.s. where these bikes are nonexistant. i know its a yamaha 660, but have not been able to figure out part numbers or even a decent rebuild kit. ive found Niche parts kits for grizzlys and raptors, but im hesitant to spend money without being absolutely sure im getting the right stuff. i am a mechanic just not well versed on motorcycles. please any help will be much appreciated.

Yes the Niche kit will fit (and its super cheap). Most of the top end (except carbs and a few other bit) from the 2001-2005 Raptor 660 fit. None of the bottom end - except the crank is the same. PM if you need more info.

I assume that means that hot cams for a raptor 660 from those years will fit into our heads?
