Tour Headlight Bucket Retainer Screw

Postby droy » Mon Mar 15, 2021 6:36 am

Putting a Tour headlight on one of my MZ projects.

So anyone know the bolt/screw size that retains the chrome headlight ring to the headlight bucket (located at 6'oclock )? 5mm standard bolt doesn't quite do it. Is it a metric screw? The MZ parts book doesn't show the bolt/screw. Thanks all.

My 1995 Skorpion Tour headlight, marked Yamaha, has two Pozi head screws holding the rim to the bowl. The screws are both M5 and are at about twenty past and twenty to. There is no screw at half past on my headlight.
I hope this helps.
Riding it is much more fun than polishing it.

Thanks for checking - but no not yet. I think it a 5 MM sheet metal screw (self taping type).

its a single screw on the bottom. Mine does not say Yamaha.
