Flash4hardcore any chance of some pictures of your rear disk please?

Also just out of interest it looks like yamaha rear disk bolts have that spacer built into the bolt so they may be an alternative that could be used instead of fully threaded button head bolts.

Cheaper bolts are available that pic for reference

Yes those are a MZ part #3625012000. But I couldn't even find them on GABORS. They are in the parts diagram but not on the list of items for sale.

Item#10 in diagram.

Also I am working off an original paper parts catalog that is 20+ years old. I used to work for MUZ North America back in the 90's. I have attached a PDF and you can see the spacers but the part 'not applicable' in this version.

Looks like the bolts that you posted via the pictures would work perfectly.

i measured my disk earlier and since i ground that lip off the edge of the disk its now around 4mm... the original mounting mating surface is 4.5mm so i got another 0.5mm of disk wear left if it beds in a bit better i may just stick with what i have for the moment, minimum thickness of original is 3.5mm

i did look on grahams mz parts fiche this morning but those spacers are not listed on his fiche... seems a bit strange that..

As for those yamaha bolts i think you would have to make sure that the spacer under flange is slightly less than the mating surface you were clamping the disk up to otherwise the disk would be loose... but you would know that anyway... it may be worth sourcing a few of the cheaper yamaha bolts to see if they work though, let us all know how you get on with it...
